WSP is seeking a Graduate in Sustainability & Climate Change to support the delivery of environmental, sustainability, and climate change projects under the Health, Safety, and Security function. You will work closely with senior team members to assist in implementing sustainable and climate-responsive solutions, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental, climate, and health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Assist in conducting environmental assessments, sustainability audits, and reports for clients.
Support the development and implementation of sustainability programs focused on waste management, energy efficiency, and environmental risk reduction.
Participate in preparing environmental impact assessments (EIAs), sustainability documentation, and compliance reports.
Conduct research on sustainability practices, trends, and regulations, providing support for the development of strategies.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating environmental performance, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and health and safety regulations.
Support the team in advising clients on environmental policies, sustainable practices, and green certifications.
Help identify potential environmental hazards and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Assist in preparing presentations and materials for client meetings and internal reports.
Stay updated on local, national, and international environmental regulations and sustainability trends.
Qualifications
UAE National (with a valid Family Book).
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Health & Safety, or a related field.
No prior professional experience required; however, relevant academic projects, internships, or coursework in environmental science or sustainability will be an advantage.
Has LEED GA/AP or WELL AP or planning to receive accreditations within 3 months.
Knowledge of Revit, IES, Envi-met, SketchUp, or other modeling software is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with clients and team members.
Attention to detail and the ability to document and report findings accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
Strong research and analytical skills to support environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives.
