Graduate Intern, Customer Education & Marketing Specialist

About The Role

The Graduate Intern, Customer Education & Marketing Specialist is a 12-month internship opportunity based in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is designed for students in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree program, or for recent graduates who completed their degree within the past 12 months.

In this role, you will support customer education initiatives and marketing activities that help advance awareness, adoption and the appropriate use of Boston Scientific solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support educational programs, marketing initiatives, customer engagement activities and operational coordination across the business.

This internship offers valuable early-career exposure to the medical technology industry, providing hands-on experience in customer education, regional marketing, healthcare professional engagement, event management and cross-functional project coordination.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of customer education programs, workshops, proctorships, training sessions, webinars and internal learning initiatives across the GEM region.
  • Assist in developing and organizing educational materials, presentations, agendas, invitations, program trackers, post-event reports and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinate logistics for customer-facing events, therapy development activities and marketing programs, working closely with vendors, agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Support the implementation of regional marketing campaigns and educational initiatives, including digital marketing activities, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to proctorship agreements, educational programs and marketing activities, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal processes.
  • Track customer engagement, program participation and project milestones using dashboards, trackers and reporting tools to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Clinical and Therapy Development teams to support customer engagement and the successful execution of regional initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient execution of business priorities, compliance activities and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Currently in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree program, or graduated within the past 12 months.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship, academic project or volunteer experience in marketing, healthcare, medical devices, event coordination, customer education or business support.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, event platforms or data reporting tools.
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence supporting customer-facing or internal meetings.
  • Interest in developing a career in medical technology, marketing, commercial excellence or customer education.
