Graduate Consultant Creative AV

Job Description

WSP in the Middle East are looking for a Graduate Consultant – Creative AV to join our growing Specialist Creative, AV & Immersive Technology team within WSP Middle East. The role will focus on supporting the design, development, and delivery of innovative audio‑visual, creative technology, and immersive experience solutions for a diverse range of buildings and destinations across the region.

You will work alongside our multidisciplinary engineering, digital, and experience design experts to help shape next‑generation environments that merge technology, storytelling, space, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and integration of creative AV, immersive technologies, and digital media systems in major projects.
• Assist in concept development, interactive experience prototyping, and technical documentation.
• Prepare design reports, presentations, and schematics with guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, option analyses, and research on emerging experience technologies.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Lighting, Acoustics, Digital) to ensure integrated design.
• Review contractor submissions and assist in site inspections where required.
• Support project delivery across different stages—from concept to detailed design and implementation.
• Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders and wider WSP teams.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Innovation Design Engineering, Design Innovation, Creative Engineering, or a closely related field such as creative technology, immersive design, digital media, or experience engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in AV design, creative technology, multimedia systems, or immersive environments — including internships, academic projects, or industry placements.
• Strong understanding of AV systems, multimedia technologies, and immersive experience design.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools, creative coding, XR/VR/AR platforms, and digital fabrication workflows.
• Knowledge of user‑centred design, interaction design, and creative technology methods.
• Strong visual storytelling, communication, and documentation skills.
• Passion for emerging creative technologies and their application in the built environment.
