Al Tamimi & Company is seeking future Emirati leaders to join our Compliance team as a Graduate Compliance Advisor.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a long-term career in Compliance, Risk, and Regulatory Affairs within one of the Middle East's leading law firms.

Working closely with experienced compliance professionals, the successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to AML, KYC, risk management, financial crime compliance, and regulatory matters. This role offers an excellent foundation for individuals looking to develop their expertise within a dynamic and highly regulated professional services environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Risk Management, Finance or related fields
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and research capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
• High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
• Interest in regulatory compliance, AML, risk management, and governance
• Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support client onboarding activities, including KYC, due diligence, and risk assessment processes
• Assist with AML, sanctions, and financial crime compliance reviews
• Conduct research on regulatory developments, legislation, and emerging compliance risks
• Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of compliance policies and procedures
• Support ongoing monitoring activities and regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist in responding to client due diligence and compliance information requests
• Support internal and external compliance audits
• Prepare compliance reports, presentations, and regulatory updates
• Assist in delivering compliance awareness initiatives and training programmes
• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Business Services teams on key projects
• Respond to compliance-related queries from stakeholders across the firm
• Develop knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to professional services environments
