Golf Operations Manager

Designed by Nicklaus Design and managed by Troon, Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club is an award-winning championship golf course set amongst spectacular mangroves and recognized as one of the Middle East's premier golf destinations. Reporting to the General Manager, the Golf Operations Manager will lead the Golf Operations team, oversee daily golf operations, retail, tournaments and membership services, and help drive exceptional guest experiences and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Golf Department, ensuring exceptional service for members, guests and visitors.
• Recruit, develop and motivate the Golf Operations team.
• Oversee tee sheet management, tournaments, member events and daily golf operations
  
  

The successful applicant will be selected on the following criteria:

• Proven experience in a previous role
• Demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong operational focus on the member/guest experience and quality assurance
• Working knowledge of Golf, operating systems, POS and rules of golf
• Experience with financial reporting and reports in general
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to be creative in order to drive revenue sales in golf rounds and merchandise
