Join us as a Global Transaction Banking Sales, based in Dubai, where you’ll work directly with clients across the Middle East to deliver practical solutions across trade and working capital, liquidity, payments, and cash management.

You’ll be part of a six-person team, supporting senior colleagues while starting to take on your own client relationships and revenue goals. The role sits close to Coverage and Product, giving you regular exposure to client conversations and a direct role in shaping solutions that fit client needs, from trade finance structures to cash centralisation and payment setups.

Alongside client engagement, you’ll support deals from early discussions through to delivery, working with Product, Risk, Legal, and Operations to shape solutions and keep transactions moving. You’ll also stay close to onboarding and implementation, helping clients transition smoothly onto bank systems, particularly for more complex trade and cash setups.

This role suits someone at an early stage in their transaction banking sales career who enjoys client interaction and wants to build commercial judgement, credit awareness, and execution skills.

To be successful in this Global Transaction Banking Sales role, you’ll bring:


  • Experience working across transaction banking, including trade and working capital, liquidity, payments, and cash management, or a closely related area
  • A solid grounding in trade products and working capital solutions, alongside an emerging ability to review credit risk and assess transaction structures
  • Familiarity with corporate treasury practices, trade documentation, and the flow of cross-border transactions
  • Clear thinking when working through deals, with a focus on quality, follow-through, and working well with different teams
  • An understanding of UAE regulatory expectations, with exposure to trade corridors across the Middle East and Asia seen as useful
  • A degree-level education, with additional qualifications such as CDCS, CITF, CFA, or ACI considered a plus

Purpose of the role

To generate revenue and promote the banks diverse product and service offerings to various customer segments.

Accountabilities


  • Identification of potential customers, analysing their needs and preferences, and staying abreast of emerging market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Creation of detailed profiles for target customer segments, outlining their demographics, financial habits, and pain points to tailor sales approaches and product recommendations.
  • Relationship management of potential and existing customer relations through the execution of high-quality customer support, by responding to queries and resolving issues, gaining their customer trust, and understanding their financial goals and challenges.
  • Understanding of the features, benefits, risks, and compliance requirements of various banking products and services offered. Understanding of the key features, benefits, risks, enhancements, and regulatory requirements of new and existing banking products, and communicate insights clearly to potential customers to address their financial needs.
  • Development of compelling sales pitches and proposals that showcase the value proposition of the banks offerings to convert leads into customers, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank.
  • Collection and analysis of customer feedback on various products, services, and overall experience, to support the development of reports that communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders, to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Monitoring of lead conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and other relevant metrics to assess sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
