Job Description
- Develop and implement global tax strategies in alignment with the organisation's objectives.
- Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and reporting standards.
- Lead tax planning initiatives to optimise the company's tax position.
- Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to address tax-related queries.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Oversee tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities.
- Provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
A successful Global Tax VP should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in global tax strategy and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of international tax regulations and reporting standards.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
