Overview of the Role:

The role is required to contribute to the provision of a quality entertainment experience in a professional and efficient manner which will reflect the company’s reputation in the shopping centre industry. Serve as a member of the Operations and Maintenance team for Imagine.

Technical roles within the Entertainment team may be interchangeable if required.

Imagine is the Entertainment brand of Al Futtaim Group Real Estate incorporating all elements of entertainment provision and delivery throughout the groups real estate including the award-winning multimedia Imagine shows.

Entertainment assets cover a broad spectrum of theatrical and entertainment equipment including mechanical /electrical, audio, lighting and lasers, AV, staging, fountain and water assets and all associated infrastructure

The role will involve carrying out planned and corrective maintenance for Imagine assets.

The department is proactive and aims to be as self-sufficient as possible in undertaking special events, development projects and modifying and improving assets. This role therefore involves building in house equipment and equipment modifications as part of this strategy.

Whilst technicians may have specific skills and experience in one particular area they will be expected to work across all elements as required

What you will do:

Repairs and Maintenance

• Assist Leader repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
• Carry out corrective maintenance as required
• Assist Leader to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks as assigned .
• Minimum breakdowns and smooth operation of shows
  
  

Equipment:

• Assist to Build in house turnkey equipment
• Assist Leader for carrying out equipment modifications
• Successful In house projects and works
  
  

Safety:

• Ensure Safety compliance in all works ,checks and records in line with industry standards and good practice ,full observance of all site specific health and safety requirements and procedures
• Full health and safety compliance and minimum accidents
  
  

Administrative:

• Maintain Technical documentation and checklists
• Job cards and checklists completed. Technical documents updated
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful:

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years extensive Repair & Maintenance or Event operation experience preferably in an appropriate fast paced environment.
  
  

Job-Specific Skills:

• Able to work at height (up to 15 meters)

What Qualifies You For The Role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

• Trade School Diploma, Mechanical, Electrical or Welding
• Base in written and spoken English
• Reasonable computer skills - MS Office
