The Sales Engineer for Air Compressors & Diesel Engines will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base for our high-performance products. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and possesses a strong technical background in air compressors and diesel engines. The sales engineer will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and providing technical solutions that meet customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for air compressors and diesel engines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers regarding product specifications.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to a diverse customer base.
  • Create tailored solutions to meet clients' specific technical and business needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
  • Manage sales processes from initial contact through order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics and customer feedback.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotional material for products.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals ensuring favorable terms for the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in industrial equipment or machinery.
  • Strong technical understanding of air compressors and diesel engines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
