General Manager - InterContinental Dubai Marina

We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead InterContinental Dubai Marina, one of Dubai’s standout luxury hotels in the heart of the Marina. This is a rare opportunity to lead a strong, established hotel with an excellent location, a talented team and real potential to grow its luxury positioning even further.

In this role, you’ll build on a hotel that is already performing well, while helping shape its next chapter. You’ll bring fresh energy to the guest experience, support the hotel through its next phase of renovation and continue to strengthen its commercial performance in one of the world’s most exciting hospitality markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy, performance and day-to-day operation of InterContinental Dubai Marina.
• Create a luxury guest experience that feels personal, consistent and memorable.
• Strengthen the hotel’s position in Dubai’s competitive luxury market.
• Drive strong commercial performance across rooms, residences and F&B.
• Lead, inspire and support an experienced hotel leadership team.
• Guide the hotel through its next phase of renovation and repositioning.
• Build strong relationships with owners, regional leaders and key partners.
• Champion service excellence and continue raising standards across the hotel.
• Keep colleague engagement, operational quality and brand delivery at the heart of the hotel.
• Represent IHG and InterContinental with confidence, warmth and credibility.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a General Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• A strong commercial mindset, with a track record of growing revenue, ADR and profitability.
• A real passion for luxury hospitality, service excellence and memorable guest experiences.
• The ability to lead established teams with care, clarity and confidence.
• Experience working closely with owners, senior stakeholders and regional teams.
• International luxury hotel GM experience; Middle East experience is helpful but not essential.
• Confidence managing a rooms-led luxury hotel with F&B and residential elements.
• Experience with Forbes standards or similar luxury service frameworks would be highly advantagous.
• A relationship-led leadership style, with the ability to build trust quickly.
• A calm, hands-on approach and the confidence to lead in a fast-moving market.
