Job Description

Milele Car Rental is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead and scale its car rental business. This is a senior leadership role with full financial and administrative authority, responsible for end-to-end business performance, growth and operational excellence.

The role reports directly to the CEO – Automotive and will play a key role in shaping strategy, profitability, and customer experience across the rental business.

Key Responsibilities

Business & P&L Ownership

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the car rental business, ensuring revenue growth, cost optimization, and sustainable profitability.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies aligned with group objectives.
  • Drive pricing, utilization, fleet mix, and yield management to maximize returns.

Operations & Fleet Management

  • Oversee all rental operations including fleet planning, utilization, maintenance coordination, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ensure high service standards across customer touchpoints while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for utilization, downtime, damages, and operational costs.

Sales, Marketing & Partnerships

  • Lead B2B, B2C, and corporate sales strategies to grow market share.
  • Strengthen partnerships with corporate clients, aggregators, brokers, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on demand generation, pricing campaigns, and brand visibility.

Financial & Administrative Authority

  • Exercise financial and administrative authority over budgets, approvals, contracts, and vendor management.
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk controls in line with UAE regulations.
  • Drive process discipline and reporting transparency.

People & Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across operations, sales, and support functions.
  • Set clear performance expectations, accountability frameworks, and succession plans.
  • Foster a performance-driven, customer-centric, and ethical work culture.

Customer Experience & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer experience while minimizing complaints and operational risks.
  • Maintain compliance with all RTA, insurance, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

10+ years of senior leadership experience in the car rental, automotive leasing or mobility sector (UAE or GCC experience strongly preferred).

Proven track record of running a car rental business with full P&L responsibility.

Strong understanding of fleet economics, utilization, pricing, and cost structures.

Demonstrated ability to scale operations, improve margins, and build strong teams.

Commercially astute, data-driven, and decisive with strong stakeholder management skills.

Experience working closely with CEOs, boards, or group leadership.
