General Manager Business Development (Healthcare)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic GM – Business Development (Healthcare) to lead the growth, operations, and strategic expansion of our clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare business development, a deep understanding of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, and proven marketing and leadership experience within the UAE healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive clinic growth, revenue, and market presence in Dubai. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and cross-specialty referrals within Dubai and from other Emirates.
• Proactively propose clinic expansion opportunities, including specialized centres of excellence, ensure expansion plans are scalable, compliant, and financially viable after conducting feasibility studies for expansion (market demand, ROI, cost vs. benefit).
• Can float suggestions for diversified revenue streams (premium services, memberships, packages, corporate tie-ups).
• Set and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets with sustainable margins.
• Ensure full compliance with DHA guidelines, licensing, audits, and healthcare standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, insurers, corporate clients, authorities, and stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of proven experience in healthcare business development, preferably within clinics or hospitals in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of DHA regulations, policies, licensing, and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in business growth, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
• Strong financial, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
