Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative furniture designs from initial concept to final production.

• Research and analyze design trends to produce contemporary and marketable furniture pieces.
• Prepare comprehensive material lists and cost estimates for proposed designs.
• Coordinate with production teams to oversee the prototype development process.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders to gain approval and feedback.
• Identify and resolve any design-related issues that arise during production stages.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in furniture design or similar roles.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of production processes and construction materials.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines.
