Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

We’re hiring for our customer a Full Stack Engineer who thrives in ambiguous environments, understands the weight of ownership, and knows how to lead from the front. This is not your typical cushy tech job. If you’re a senior engineer who’s been the fixer, the builder, and the glue, read on.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead development across backend (NestJS), frontend (Next.js), databases (PostgreSQL/SQL), and mobile APIs.
• Take over governance of master data and ensure database integrity across systems.
• Unpack legacy decisions and refactor where needed — no one’s coming to clean it up but you.
• Coordinate with our external agency, off-shore teams (Pakistan), and product function.
• Help design and execute our data migration and rollout plans.
• Review code, push releases, and make tech decisions that scale .
• Own uptime, documentation, versioning, and system reliability
• Identify, scope, and build internal tools and admin interfaces as needed.
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in full stack engineering (with at least 2 years in a lead role) with deep expertise in Next.js, NestJS, and SQL/PostgreSQL
• Strong grasp of software architecture and system design across services.
• Proven experience managing chaotic handovers and delivering results in unstable or fragmented environments.
• Experience working with (or cleaning up after) multiple vendors or off-shore teams .
