Architectural Draftsman – Job Description

An Architectural Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings and detailed plans based on architectural designs, project specifications, and client requirements. The role involves developing 2D drawings and 3D models, coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines, and ensuring drawings comply with project standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts.
  
• Develop detailed construction and shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  
• Prepare drawings for residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects.
  
• Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, structural, and civil drawings.
  
• Revise drawings according to consultant and client comments.
  
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain proper drawing documentation.
  
• Ensure accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and drawing standards are maintained.
  
• Work closely with architects, engineers, BIM teams, and site personnel.
  
• Support the project team with drawing updates and technical documentation.
  
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and relevant building standards.
