Property is one of the largest, slowest, most opaque markets in the world. A typical UAE transaction involves a buyer, a seller, two agents, a brokerage, a developer, a bank, a regulator, and weeks of friction across them. Most of that friction exists because the underlying product is bad - fragmented data, manual handoffs, and incentives misaligned with the people the product is supposed to serve. Were rebuilding that infrastructure. 🔧

Engage is the operating system for how property gets bought, sold, and rented in the UAE. 🇦🇪 Were owned by Cencorp Group and embedded inside some of the countrys largest brokerages - betterhomes, CRC, Lindas - which means our product touches a meaningful share of every property transaction in Dubai.

This isnt a typical internship role. Youll be embedded with the engineering team to build and improve the interfaces our brokers and clients use every day. Youll ship code that reaches real users from day one - not sandbox exercises or training projects.

When youre rebuilding infrastructure that brokers and agents rely on every day, the quality of the frontend matters. A slow, confusing UI is a feature that gets ignored. Thats what this role helps fix.

Youll be working on live projects from day one, writing code that ships to real users and learning how a production frontend is structured and maintained.

• Build and modify UI components in React, following our existing design system and patterns.
• Fix bugs and small issues across the frontend, learning how the codebase is structured as you go.
• Work with designers to translate Figma designs into working, responsive interfaces.
• Write clean, readable code that follows our conventions, and take feedback on it well.
• Test your own work across browsers and screen sizes before handing it off for review.
• Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to understand how the frontend connects to APIs and data.
• Document any components or patterns you build so others can reuse them.

• Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Some experience with React - personal projects, coursework, bootcamp, or a prior internship all count.
• Understanding of how components, props, and state work.
• Comfortable reading other peoples code and asking questions when something is unclear.
• Attention to detail - especially around how things actually look and behave, not just whether the code runs.
• An AI-first mindset - youre comfortable using AI coding tools to move faster and learn on the job.
• Eagerness to learn - this role will stretch you into workflows and systems you havent seen before.
• CS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-taught experience.
