Responsibilities

Heres what youll do during a typical day:

  • Front Office Operations: Oversee daily Front Office operations while maintaining Hilton service and operational standards.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional Guest experiences, recognise VIP and regular Guests, and continuously improve Guest satisfaction.
  • Commercial Performance: Maximise occupancy and revenue through effective rate management, upselling, and promotion of hotel services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, train, and develop the Front Office Team to achieve high performance and service standards.
  • Brand Standards: Ensure every Guest interaction reflects the light and warmth of hospitality.
  • Training & Knowledge: Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel services, policies, pricing, and the local area.
  • Planning & Performance: Manage departmental objectives, schedules, budgets, policies, procedures, and performance.
  • Communication: Maintain strong communication and effective working relationships with all hotel departments.
  • Staffing: Manage staffing levels effectively in line with operational and business demands.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security, fire, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Systems: Ensure effective use of Front Office equipment and property management systems.
  • Hotel Support: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations and exceptional Guest experiences.

The following capabilities and qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Front Office Manager role, with a degree or diploma in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional Guest experiences and consistently high service standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness, sales capabilities, and experience in managing departmental budgets and Profit & Loss (P&L).
  • High level of IT proficiency, with knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience within Hilton is preferred.
