Job Description

As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and clients, setting the tone for their overall experience. Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations at the front desk. You'll handle guest inquiries, reservations, and administration duties while providing a welcoming and hospitable environment. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that every visitor feels valued and cared for, which requires excellent communication and organizational skills. Your proactive problem-solving ability and diligent attention to detail will help create a positive and lasting impression for every guest.


Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests with a friendly demeanor and provide assistance.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and direct to appropriate departments.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs following company procedures.
  • Manage reservations, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Provide information about amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints courteously and effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area at all times.
  • Ensure accurate and timely running of daily reports and logs.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scheduling.
  • Manage cash transactions and balance the cash drawer accurately.
  • Uphold company policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Representative or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and front desk software systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
