Job Description

We are seeking a polite, professional, and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth guest experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various administrative and clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will manage bookings, front desk tasks, and be the go-to person for guests' inquiries in our establishment. Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and handle all check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and assist with inquiries and reservations.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy front desk area ensuring it is presentable.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
  • Provide information about the hotel's services, facilities, and nearby attractions.
  • Process accurate payments, issue keys, and manage concierge services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures, manage room keys securely.
  • Assist in coordinating with other departments to fulfill guest requests and needs.
  • Monitor guest feedback and communicate relevant information to team members.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate daily records, logs, and reports.
  • Update guest information in the hotel's booking system promptly and accurately.
  • Assist in managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and deliveries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a front desk agent or in customer service environment.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polite and friendly demeanor.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment such as printers and fax machines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Ability to handle and resolve guest issues with a professional attitude.
  • Familiarity with hospitality-industry software, such as hotel booking systems.
  • Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
