Job Description

As a Freight Forwarding Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion for our logistics division. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive top-tier service in managing their freight and logistics needs. You will work closely with the operations team to facilitate seamless coordination and execution of transportation processes, leveraging your industry expertise to address challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. This position requires a deep understanding of freight forwarding services, market trends, and competitive landscape, allowing you to effectively strategize and implement sales plans to meet ambitious targets. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that achieve business goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to grow revenue.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless freight handling processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in freight forwarding sales or logistics.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience managing a sales team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding operations and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable sales strategies.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events.
