2. About the Opportunity:
The Fraud Investigations Manager leads complex fraud investigations and develops strategies to prevent and mitigate fraud risks within the platform. This role ensures high standards of investigative excellence while shaping proactive fraud defenses. The position is critical to maintaining platform trust and resilience by reducing fraud losses, improving case resolution quality, and preventing emerging threats. It also involves mentoring a specialized team and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to implement effective fraud countermeasures.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of senior fraud investigators and analysts
• Resolve complex, high-risk, or escalated fraud cases with decisive judgment
• Analyze fraud trends and translate findings into platform controls and policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement fraud countermeasures
• Develop and present investigative reports and fraud intelligence summaries
• Support operational queues during peak periods to maintain platform integrity
4. Requirements:
• 8+ years of leadership in fraud investigations, intelligence, risk analytics, or related fields
• Expertise linking case-level insights to broader fraud patterns and systemic risk
• Strong background in fraud strategy, behavioral analysis, and risk control development
• Skilled in clear, structured investigative reporting and guiding narrative standards
• Hands-on experience with fraud tools, signal detection, structured data analysis; advanced SQL and Python skills
• Knowledge of cyber risk frameworks, digital forensics, and platform security; relevant certifications preferred
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in high-stakes environments
• Experience working with international and cross-functional partners on policy and technology improvements
• Must reside in a US state where the organization has a registered entity; occasional onsite or offsite work may be required
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay Range $125,000—$145,000 USD
