As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring suspicious activities, investigating fraud cases, minimizing losses, and ensuring a secure banking experience for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
Monitor transaction and non-transaction alerts to identify and respond to potential fraud incidents.
Investigate suspicious card activities and take appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
Contact customers to verify suspicious transactions and ensure timely resolution.
Process fraud and dispute cases within agreed timelines while minimizing financial losses.
Prepare fraud investigation reports, MIS dashboards, and analytical insights for management review.
Liaise with card schemes, acquirers, law enforcement agencies, and internal stakeholders on fraud-related matters.
Support fraud prevention initiatives, process enhancements, and operational efficiency improvements.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business continuity exercises, and fraud control projects.
Train and mentor new team members on fraud monitoring procedures and best practices.
Work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support 24/7 fraud monitoring operations.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
Experience in Fraud Monitoring, Cards Operations, Risk Management, or Financial Crime functions.
Knowledge of card fraud trends, dispute handling, transaction monitoring, and fraud investigations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, regulators, law enforcement agencies, and internal stakeholders.
Experience in preparing reports, MIS, and performance metrics.
Familiarity with payment card industry regulations and fraud prevention controls is an advantage.
