As a Fragrances Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional customer experience by guiding clients in selecting the perfect scents that match their personal style and needs. In this dynamic position, you will utilize your expert knowledge in fragrances to provide personalized consultations, showcasing the latest products and trends. The role involves both sales and education, requiring you to keep abreast of the latest developments in the fragrance industry, including new product launches and seasonal fragrance releases. You will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring that each customer leaves with a positive impression and, more importantly, a fragrance they love. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is key to success in this position as it involves understanding customer preferences and offering tailored recommendations that meet individual client needs.


Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized fragrance consultations to customers, ensuring a tailored approach to each client.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the latest fragrance products and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate the use of fragrances, advising on application techniques and scent longevity.
  • Build customer relationships through exceptional service and tailored fragrance recommendations.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting fragrance promotions and special events.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and informative retail environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to influence stock and product placements.
  • Assist in the management of fragrance displays, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics.
  • Keep the sales floor and testing stations clean, organized, and appealing to customers.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines concerning fragrance testing and sample distribution.
  • Report sales activities and maintaining accurate records for inventory management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably within the fragrance industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for fragrances and cosmetics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the retail operation.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a retail setting.
  • Proficiency in a second language is considered a plus for this role.
