Job Description

As a Fragrances Consultant, you will be at the forefront of crafting and enhancing the sensory experiences that our clients crave. Working in an energetic and customer-focused retail environment, you will identify customer needs, offer informed recommendations, and help them discover their unique scent profiles. Your role involves more than just selling fragrances; it's about educating and inspiring customers, developing client relationships, and driving brand loyalty. By leveraging your in-depth knowledge of product lines, you will tailor advice that perfectly matches the personal preferences and styles of each individual. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for perfumes and an innate ability to communicate that passion to others.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their fragrance needs and preferences.
  • Provide personalized recommendations based on customers' life style and tastes.
  • Educate customers on the olfactory compositions and notes of fragrances.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest fragrance launches and trends.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of fragrance products.
  • Promote special promotions and loyalty programs to encourage repeat visits.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and inviting fragrance counter display.
  • Build lasting relationships to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Host events and workshops to engage customers with new products and techniques.
  • Track sales metrics and customer feedback to guide personal performance goals.
  • Participate in team meetings to develop innovative sales approaches and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and store policies regarding sales and conduct.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail or previous work with fragrance products is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage customers effectively.
  • Demonstrated passion for fragrances and understanding of scent compositions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills with aptitude for multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is an advantage.
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a proactive approach to reaching sales targets.
