Job Description

As a Fragrances Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding customers through their fragrance selection journey. Your primary focus will be to enhance customer experience by recommending the perfect scents that suit individual preferences and lifestyles. You will work collaboratively with our sales team to drive sales and achieve profitability goals, while building loyal, long-term relationships with our customers. Your expertise and in-depth knowledge of perfumes, notes, and ingredients will be vital in delivering exceptional service and educating clients on the nuances of various fragrance brands. This position requires a dynamic individual with outstanding communication skills, the ability to engage with diverse personalities, and a passion for the art of perfumery.


Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting fragrances that match their personal preferences and lifestyle.
  • Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits of various fragrance brands.
  • Demonstrate and sample perfumes, explaining their ingredients and scent profiles to clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer base through effective communication and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.
  • Ensure the fragrance section is clean, organized, and stocked with the latest products.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to management promptly.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Monitor current market trends and communicate valuable insights to the team and management.
  • Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement within the store.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in fragrance sales or a similar retail environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of different fragrance families, notes, and blending techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory and displays.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code when interacting with clients.
  • A passion for perfumery and a desire to continually learn about new products and trends.
