Client Experience

  • Welcome, listen to, understand, shape and satisfy client needs, exceeding their expectations.
  • Apply Sephora Attitude with the use of digital tools to enhance the client’s experience.
  • Use knowledge, skills, and tools available in store to create addictive and unforgettable experience while increasing the average basket sale.
  • As a Fragrance Specialist, ensure that every customer is approached and assisted, ensuring increases sales and customer loyalty.
  • Ensure the client’s satisfaction, even in difficult situations, turning to the management team when necessary.
  • Introduce and increase complimentary services to the client and assist to uplift the average basket.

Education & Demonstration

  • Assist and guide clients on the most appropriate range of products and techniques to use, according to their needs.
  • Support training of the team and share product and brand knowledge and any specific fragrance demonstrations or storytelling in line with store management.
  • Pro-actively communicate with store management on training opportunities.
  • Coach and develop the team in all aspects of retail (selling techniques, products selection, trends, clients’ education through in class training.
  • Display an exceptional image and body language in accordance with the Sephora grooming guidelines.
  • Demonstrate elevated service/selling skills to deliver high level services while educating the client.
  • Manage consultation time effectively, build relationship and share tips to elevate the client’s experience.
  • Ensure effective implementation of fragrance tours / events with feedback to management.
  • Support instore monthly animation.
  • Communicate high selling and low selling references.

Sales

  • Use the Sephora Attitude & selling techniques to build and maximize each client’s basket.
  • You will be a motivational team player and deliver agreed sales KPI’s.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commercial mind.
  • Contribute to achieve store Monthly turnover, Fragrance and Niche MS.
  • Highly contribute towards the store engraving Target.

Operations

  • Apply store policies and procedures. Support store team with merchandising procedures (products, testers, prices, animations, cash desk area, stock room, beauty hub tools, etc.) according to Sephora standards.
  • Using visual merchandising experience, your role is required to support the implementation of seasonal campaigns and ensure that the shop floor and back of house areas remain at a high standard at all times.
  • Assist your store in all departments where necessary (cash, operations other axis).
  • Contribute to the overall store’s image through cleanliness and product restocking.
  • Minimise stock loss.
  • Communicate tester requirement on a monthly basis to the management and follow up.

Know How

Keep the knowledge and skills up to date by attending regular training and convention events, either in-class at Sephora University or in store and by connecting and actively using our digital training platform (360 learning).

Internal Relationships

  • Store team (Store Manager/Director, Supervisor, Beauty Consultants), Area Manager, HR & Training team.

External Relationships

  • Clients, Brand Promoters. Brand Trainers, Security and Cleaning team.

Experience

  • Proven successful sales and services in store.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in Sephora (in the role of Beauty Consultant).

Languages

  • English – minimum intermediate level for OGCC.
  • Arabic is a plus for OGCC.

  • Good communication skills.
  • Training & coaching ability on product and retail services.
  • Punctual and innovative.
