Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure & Solution Architect with 15+ years of experience in banking and financial services to join our Enterprise Architecture team. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant hybrid/multi-cloud architectureswith Azure as the primary platform, and exposure to AWS and GCP as added advantages.

Cloud Architecture Design

You will collaborate across business, security, infrastructure, and application teams to align solutions with the bank's technology roadmap and regulatory requirements. The role requires deep hands-on technical expertise, a strong grasp of banking infrastructure, and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly to stakeholders at all Responsibilities :

• Design and implement secure, high-performance, cost-optimized Azure-based infrastructure for core banking workloads and & Hybrid Solutions :
• Define strategy and architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud setups involving Azure (primary), with AWS and GCP used for specific workloads where Modernization :
• Lead migration and modernization efforts of legacy banking systems into cloud-native or hybrid cloud & Compliance :
• Ensure cloud and on-premise environments meet local regulatory (e.g., UAE Central Bank) and international compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, Recovery & High Availability :
• Architect DR, backup, and high-availability solutions across multiple regions and & Automation :
• Embed IaC (Terraform, Bicep), CI/CD, and security tooling into architecture & Identity Architecture :
• Work with teams to design secure network segmentation, firewall rules, ExpressRoute/VPN configurations, and identity federation using Azure AD, ADFS, & Cost Optimization :
• Define tagging strategies, policies, budgets, and monitoring mechanisms across subscriptions and Collaboration :
• Work closely with security, application development, compliance, and data teams to ensure cloud solutions are aligned with enterprise & HLD/LLD Ownership :
• Produce clear, accurate architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, and decision :
• 15+ years in IT infrastructure and architecture
• Minimum 57 years working in Azure-based enterprise cloud architecture, ideally in a banking or highly regulated environment
• Experience leading large transformation or migration initiatives from legacy infrastructure to Skills : expertise in :
• Azure IaaS, PaaS, VNet, Azure Firewall, NSGs, Bastion, Private Endpoints
• Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Key Vault
• ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, BGP, Hybrid Connectivity
• Identity management: Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access
• Exposure to AWS and GCP cloud services (VPC, IAM, S3, GKE, etc.) is a plus
• Proficient in Terraform / Bicep / ARM, scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, IP planning, SD-WAN, firewalls, and segmentation
• Experience with regulatory compliance in BFSI, including data sovereignty, DR, and encryption standards
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work across cross-functional, culturally diverse teams
• High attention to detail and strategic problem-solving mindset
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Professional Cloud Architect
• TOGAF, CCSP, or CISSP is a plus
• Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNP) add value
