FP&A Manager

Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Division is looking for a FP&A Manager based in UAE

This is a fixed term contract role for 6 months

As FP&A Manager, youll lead advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and insights to influence strategic decision-making and support organizational objectives.

What Youll Do

• Responsible for the review and analysis of assigned projects that may include :
• Financial statements analysis
• Preparation, review and analysis of requests for capital expenditures and Purchase Orders
• Pricing analysis
• Gross Margin/COGS Analysis
• Profit plan preparation
• Long-range planning analysis
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations/Cash Flow Analysis
• Review and analysis of profitability
• Journal Entry Preparation
• Resource Allocation/Headcount Planning
• Supply Chain/Global Demand Analytics
• Applies educational and advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and requirements to support business needs.
• Operates independently under general management direction; work is only reviewed to determine if desired results and objectives have been achieved.
• Maintain controls to ensure integrity of assets and compliance with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and internal controls.
• Responsible for compliance around balance sheet reconciliations and works with both internal/external audit requests.
• Projects can be varied and complex; may refer to established precedents to develop solutions; use of innovative thinking is required. Plans/leads projects and analyzes results to present recommendations to leadership.
• Frequent inter-and intra-divisional collaborations; represents area as a prime contact on projects.
• May have department budget responsibility.
  
  

Financial modelling and financial consulting on matters related to setting up a manufacturing site.

• Prepare different financial statements and KPIs : 10-year P&Ls, discounted cash flow, payback period
• Flexing the model based on current dynamics, through LBEs / OEM
• Sensitivity analysis on price and volume o Incorporating different product portfolios as needed
• Assessing eligibility of economic participation investment required under different localization scenarios
  
  

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in Accounting, Finance, or related field

An equivalent combination of education and work experience

4-5 years relevant experience in a similar role and segment
