Founding Full Stack AI Engineer

We are working with an ambitious and rapidly growing hedge fund based in the UAE is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer to build and lead its AI capabilities from the ground up.

This is a high-impact opportunity to architect, deploy, and scale AI systems that support trading workflows, research, operational automation, and enterprise intelligence within a highly regulated, performance-driven environment.

You will take ownership of the firms AI architecture, infrastructure, security, and deployment strategy, building production-grade systems where auditability, reliability, and security are fundamental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-agent orchestration frameworks for trading and enterprise use cases
• Build RAG pipelines, memory systems, and context management architectures
• Develop secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Implement AI observability, monitoring, tracing, and decision lineage capabilities
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows and governance frameworks
• Establish robust security controls, guardrails, and audit mechanisms
• Optimise model performance, infrastructure efficiency, and operational resilience
• Lead internal AI adoption and develop reusable AI platforms across the business

Requirements

• Strong experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic AI, and RAG architectures
• Hands-on expertise with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks
• Advanced Python development experience, including FastAPI and asynchronous systems
• Strong experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps, security, and infrastructure engineering
• Experience with vector databases and SQL/NoSQL environments
• Proven track record building production-grade AI systems with strong governance and reliability standards

Preferred Experience

• Experience within hedge funds, asset management, trading, fintech, or digital asset environments
• Understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and investment workflows
• Experience with AI governance, compliance, and security frameworks
• Familiarity with local model hosting technologies such as vLLM and Ollama
