As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in the logistics and supply chain operations within our company. Your main responsibility will be to operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials safely and efficiently. You will be expected to adhere to company standards and safety regulations to ensure workplace safety and operational efficiency. This position requires an individual who is responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. A successful candidate will have previous experience operating forklifts and will be committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your contribution is essential to keeping the supply chain moving and ensuring that all logistical operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload goods in a safe manner.
• Transport products from receiving areas to storage or shipping docks.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure that floors and work areas are clean and clutter-free.
• Follow company safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Accurately record and document the movement of materials and products.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts for operational reliability.
• Coordinate with team members for efficient warehouse operations.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory management tasks.
• Ensure products are stored in the correct locations within the warehouse.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment at all times.
• Comply with all warehouse safety and operational standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts, as per local regulations.
• Minimum of one year of proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and protocols.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
