Food Safety Officer - UAE National

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE/KSA-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parkers, Somewhere, Shalwa, Kumo and Public.

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Food Safety Officer (UAE National) to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, maintain a clean and sanitary environment, and guarantee the quality of our food products. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing and enforcing food safety protocols, conduct inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential food safety hazards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP & Dubai Municipality food code)
• Training and Education: Provide training on food safety practices to employees
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions.
• Corrective Actions Investigate and address food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to food safety processes and procedures.
