The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a cluster of hotels, is looking for an experienced Hostess to join their extraordinary team!

Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay area, home of the Burj Khalifa! Minutes away from The Dubai mall, renowned Jumeirah Beach, and with convenient access to all of Dubai’s world-leading tourist attractions. The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay includes 275 hotel rooms as well as 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments, convenient F&B offerings & meeting and events facilities.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ascertain their dining needs.
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart and monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Take bookings for the Restaurant, via telephone, fax, emails and deal promptly with all inquiries relating to the Restaurant, turning inquiries into bookings and handling guest’s orders.
• Keep up to date and accurate all enquiries relating bookings and put them in the systems and follow up any guest’s requirements and pass it on to the right person.
• Liaise with the restaurant management regarding special offers and ensure the offers are advertised accordingly on the system and website.
• Utilize the systems to its full potential, maximize bookings, create a database of all regular patrons of the restaurant, building a detailed record of guest.
  
  

What We Need From You

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Ideally, you have at least 1-2 years of similar or relative experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, additional languages a plus.
