InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Here’s a glimpse into what your day will look like:

  • Providing full secretarial and administrative support to the Food & Beverage team
  • Ensuring the efficient management of information, including emails, correspondence, and filing in a prompt and professional manner
  • Preparing, compiling, editing, and issuing various reports, schedules, and presentations as required
  • Coordinating and supporting monthly payroll activities for the Food & Beverage department, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Maintaining and updating weekly applications and systems pertaining to IHG, ensuring compliance with brand and operational standards
  • Assisting and providing administrative support to breakfast operations as required, including coordination with relevant teams
  • Maintaining accurate records for lieu days, vacation, and leave tracking, ensuring alignment with HR policies
  • Fostering positive working relationships and liaising with different departments for meeting arrangements, bookings, operational tasks, and projects
  • Exercising complete confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy at all times

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role. Experience in guest services is a plus!
  • Good knowledge of Ms Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with rotating shifts and flexible hours. You are a team player who adapts well to different situations.
  • Impeccable grooming and a presentable appearance are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, whether interacting face-to-face, on the phone, or through written correspondence.
