We are looking for a Flight Operations Engineering Coordinator to join our team.

Scope of Function: 

To provide operational engineering support and flight operations services to the Comlux Group, supporting Nominated Persons and Postholders within Flight Operations across all AOCs with a high level of autonomy. The role is responsible for the administration of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), documentation control, and operational support activities, and requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Responsibilities:

• Report to and support the Flight Operations Engineering Manager.
• Support operational engineering studies, including weight and balance, aircraft performance, and aerodrome assessments.
• Responsible for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) administration.
• Manage the documentation management system.
• Support the Flight Operations Engineering Manager during new aircraft introductions.
• Support in the development and optimisation of processes and tools within the Flight Operations department.
• Support in liaising with Flight Operations suppliers.
• Coordinate with Nominated Persons for aircraft-specific approvals.
• Perform quality checks on internal processes.
• Support the setup and control of aircraft performance and navigational databases.
• Support the technical aspects of the Emissions Trading Scheme.
• Perform and oversee returned flight documentation checks.
• Support and participate in company projects, as required.
• Provide support to Flight Operations Nominated Persons and Postholders across all AOCs, as required.
• Promote and support the company’s safety culture.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with all departments.

Requirements:

• Experience in aviation operations, flight operations support, training administration, or a related environment is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles, including their application to aviation operational systems.
• Experience with, or familiarity with, EFB systems such as ForeFlight and FlySmart, or similar digital operational platforms, is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant IT tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and take full ownership of tasks.
• Proactive mindset, with a hands-on approach and a focus on continuous process improvement.
