Flight Dispatcher

As a Flight Dispatcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient coordination of airline flights. Your duties will include creating flight plans, determining fuel requirements, monitoring weather conditions, and arranging for necessary airport services. Additionally, you will be in constant communication with pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground staff to provide real-time support and updates. Responsibilities

• Plan and compute flight routes, taking into consideration factors such as weather conditions, air traffic control restrictions, and aircraft performance capabilities.
• Coordinate with airline operations to ensure timely departures and arrivals of flights.
• Monitor flight progress and communicate with pilots regarding any necessary route adjustments or changes in flight plans.
• Prepare and file necessary flight documentation, including flight plans, weather briefings, and fuel load calculations.
• Provide logistical support to flight crews, including arranging ground transportation, accommodations, and catering services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to address any mechanical issues that may impact flight operations.
• Communicate with air traffic control and other relevant authorities to obtain necessary clearances and approvals for flight operations.
• Assist in managing emergency situations and implementing contingency plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all flight operations and communications for reporting and analysis purposes.

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautics, or related field.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certification.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
