Finishes Manager

GRID is looking for a Finishes Manager to oversee, coordinate, and deliver all interior and exterior finish scopes across its real estate development projects. This role is responsible for ensuring architectural intent, quality standards, budgets, and schedules are met from mockups through final handover. Working closely with design, construction, procurement, and consultant teams, the Finishes Manager helps deliver high-quality finishes that align with Grid’s brand, market positioning, and project objectives.

Design & Pre-Construction

• Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and material schedules for constructability, cost, and quality.
  

• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and consultants to resolve finish-related design issues.
  

• Support value engineering exercises while maintaining design intent and quality benchmarks.
  

• Lead finish mockups, samples, and approval processes.
  

Procurement & Cost Control

• Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting finish materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  

• Review bids and recommend awards for finish-related trades and materials.
  

• Monitor finish budgets and support cost tracking and change management.
  

Construction & Site Management

• Manage all finish trades including (but not limited to) flooring, tiling, millwork, cabinetry, stone, paint, wall coverings, ceilings, doors, hardware, and fixtures.
  

• Coordinate sequencing and interfaces between structure, MEP, and finishes to avoid clashes.
  

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance with drawings/specs, and workmanship standards.
  

• Resolve site issues, RFIs, and finish-related changes promptly.
  

Quality Control & Handover

• Implement finish quality control procedures and inspection checklists.
  

• Manage snagging/punch lists related to finishes and ensure timely close-out.
  

• Coordinate final inspections, testing, and approvals.
  

• Support handover documentation, warranties, and as-built records for finish scopes.
  

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with internal development teams, construction managers, designers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  

• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to project leadership.
  
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  

• 5–10+ years of experience in finishes management for real estate development, construction, or fit-out projects.
  

• Strong knowledge of finish materials, detailing, installation methods, and quality standards.
  

• Experience on residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use developments preferred.
