JUSTLIFE
- STRATEGY & FINANCE
- DUBAI, UAE
Transform the financial backbone of the region’s leading home-services platform for its next stage of growth.
The opportunity
Justlife is the leading home-services platform, operating across the UAE and KSA. We’re looking for the leader who will transform our financial backbone for the next stage of our growth.
This is a build-and-scale mandate. You will take a finance function that already runs a fast-growing business and strengthen the systems, controls and reporting that the next stage of our growth will run on, working directly with senior leadership. It’s a builder’s seat with visible impact, not a caretaker role boxed into narrow reporting.
Why this role exists
Justlife is scaling fast as the category leader, and finance is scaling with the business. This role elevates financial rigor, governance and reporting accuracy to institutional grade across the group, and sets the standard the next phase of growth will run on. For someone who wants to shape how finance works inside a fast-moving market leader, this is that seat.
What you’ll build in your first six months
- Transform the finance function — own and deliver a step-change in how Justlife’s finances are governed, closed and reported
- Earn full trust — build productive relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors and advisors, with complete command of the company’s financial position
- Level up — grow the finance team’s capability, depth and ownership as the business scales
What you’ll own
Governance, accounting structure & systems
- Chart of Accounts & architecture — own, standardize and govern the COA across all entities as the group grows
- Systems & automation — lead initiatives to standardize, automate and improve financial reporting and record-keeping systems
Financial reporting & month-end close
- Financial statements — lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statements under IFRS across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction group
- Close process — drive a timely, accurate month-end close across all businesses
Internal controls, policy & compliance
- Control environment — strengthen, implement and monitor a robust internal-control framework group-wide
- IFRS & technical accounting — maintain accounting policies and implement new IFRS updates consistently group-wide
- Regulatory & tax compliance — ensure full compliance with statutory, accounting and tax requirements, with specific focus on UAE and KSA
External relations & stakeholder communication
- Audit coordination — act as primary liaison for external auditors, tax authorities and advisors
- Management insight — translate complex results into actionable insight on performance, risk and key metrics for executive leadership
- Investor reporting — support clear, accurate reporting packages for shareholders and investors
Team leadership
- Develop talent — supervise, coach and mentor the finance team; run performance reviews and create growth opportunities
- Build the unit — foster a high-performing finance-operations team aligned to group objectives
Who you are
You are a qualified finance leader who has scaled a function, not just run one. You’re structured and detail-oriented, driven by delivery, and energized rather than unsettled by a fast-moving function with many concurrent workstreams.
Must-haves
- Qualification — CPA or CA (ACA / ACCA / equivalent), plus a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience — 10+ years across finance, controlling and accounting, including time in Big4 and/or a fast-paced consumer-tech company
- Technical depth — strong IFRS command with proven multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction reporting experience
Strong pluses
- GCC exposure — hands-on with UAE and KSA tax and statutory requirements
- People leadership — a track record of growing a finance team into a high-ownership, high-performing unit
