Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee and control all financial and commercial activities across GCC markets in line with corporate policies and regional strategy.
  • Monitor distributor commercial conditions including pricing, discounts, rebates, bonuses, and payment terms.
  • Track and approve free goods, samples, and promotional schemes; assess financial impacts.
  • Review and control sales deductions, trade promotions, and market support expenses to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly reconciliations with GCC distributors covering sales, stock, free goods, and outstanding balances; investigate and resolve variances.
  • Control and monitor operating expenses (OPEX), ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
  • Prepare financial reports, profitability analyses by product, country, and distributor, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling estimates for GCC commercial operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure financial governance in commercial decisions.
  • Conduct market visits and attend meetings with key distributors and institutional purchasers (hospitals, tenders, government entities).
  • Support tender evaluations by reviewing pricing, margins, payment terms, and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal audit standards across GCC countries.
  • Act as a finance business partner to regional management, providing commercial decision support.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audits related to GCC operations.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance, commercial finance, or business partnering roles, with at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GCC markets, distributor management, and commercial operations.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability reporting.
  • Familiarity with trade promotions, sales deductions, and tender evaluations within pharma or FMCG sectors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of GCC regulatory requirements, tax, and audit standards.
