Your challenge
You will be placed in our Dubai office, within Finance team. This is a temporary role from April to December 2026.
You Will Be Primarily Responsible For The Following Activities
- Management of technical and nontechnical accounting department.
- Managing of all operations related to accounting in the BU.
- Responsible for local financial statements of the BU
- Responsible for IFRS reporting for AZTrade G and AZ
- Responsible for controlling the financial statements of the BU and analysing deviations to budget and prior years
- Responsible for trends analysis and follow up of P&L items (turnover, claims, expenses...)
- Support CFO in all planning and budgeting activities
- Reconciliation of accounts with local partners
You are the ideal candidate if you possess the below skills:
- Market knowledge:
- Know own market basics and regulatory environment
Business Expertise
- Strong knowledge of insurance accounting rules
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting rules including IFRS 17
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate big picture goals into bottom-up objectives
Interpersonal Skills
- Good level of English
- Senior accountant with work experience of > 5 years
- Flexible, self-starters
- Strong communication skills
Technical Skills
It is advantageous to have Trade Credit Insurance Knowledge.
