Job Description

The Financial Controller plays a critical role in managing the financial operations of our organization. This position ensures the accuracy of financial reports, oversees budgeting processes, and implements efficient financial strategies and policies. As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with senior management to drive financial planning and analysis, providing insights and recommendations that align with the company's objectives. Your detail-oriented approach, combined with your strategic thinking, will be vital in maintaining financial integrity and supporting long-term growth. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles and strong leadership skills to manage the finance team effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the company's accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for reliability.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast and manage the company's budget efficiently.
  • Supervise the finance department staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate external audits and address any findings to improve financial practices.
  • Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to maintain financial stability.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements in financial management.
  • Prepare financial reports for management meetings and stakeholder presentations.
  • Participate in strategic financial planning to support the company's growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel for complex financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to derive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to present financial information effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management is crucial.
