Job Description

The Financial Controller at 25N25 will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies of the company, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining robust financial systems. This position plays a critical role in developing and implementing financial procedures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The candidate will lead the finance team, providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing financial processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes efficiently.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial procedures and policies for the company.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards applicable to the company.
  • Lead and manage the finance team to achieve departmental objectives efficiently.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisers to ensure statutory requirements are met.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to maintain financial health.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support evaluation and planning activities.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial information and control systems are maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is mandatory.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance management role required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards like GAAP or IFRS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a team under dynamic circumstances.
  • Proficient in financial software systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar tools.
