The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in managing the financial health of an organization. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficient coordination.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for stakeholders and management review.
• Develop financial strategy, including managing risks, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies at all times.
• Direct and manage the organization's financial planning and performance analysis activities.
• Implement financial policies and establish internal control systems for efficient financial management.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, ensuring adherence and accuracy.
• Manage the payroll process and ensure timely payment to employees and contractors.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate financial monitoring and controls are maintained.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
• Support HR in managing compensation, benefits, and other payroll issues.
• Monitor cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business financial direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role in finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with strong data-driven focus.
• Familiarity with financial accounting software and MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA is highly preferred.
