Job Description

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial health and efficiency of our organization. This crucial role involves managing and overseeing the accounting functions, developing financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis to guide decision-making processes. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards across all financial activities.
  • Coordinate the preparation and timely presentation of statutory accounts and tax returns.
  • Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements.
  • Analyze financial performance and KPIs to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Implement robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and enhance financial reporting.
  • Facilitate audits by providing information and accurate records to auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to drive financial accountability and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial analysis reports to support executive management's strategic planning.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to enhance their capabilities and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or finance management.
  • Proven experience managing complex financial projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
