Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and financial forecasting of our organization. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data and performance, creating reports, and providing insights that support our business decisions. Your expertise in interpreting complex financial information will be critical in recommending actions that ensure the financial health of the company. Collaborating with various departments, you will enhance our budgeting processes and contribute to improving our financial performance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgeting and forecasting tools.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
  • Monitor changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on the business.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and present findings to the finance team.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for stakeholder and board meetings.
  • Develop and improve financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Analyze competitors’ financial statements to inform business strategy.
  • Work with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role in finance.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial review.
  • Understanding of financial statements, budgets, and forecasting processes.
  • Strong communication skills to present data findings to stakeholders clearly.
  • Experience with financial software and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
