Job Description

A Finance Systems Analyst Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of finance-related systems within an organization. This position combines finance acumen, systems expertise, and leadership skills to manage and optimize financial systems, providing reliable support for the organization's financial processes. The role involves leading system analysis projects, implementing system enhancements, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure financial systems meet the organizational needs. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the oversight of a team of finance systems analysts and works collaboratively with IT and finance departments to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance systems team to achieve company objectives efficiently.
  • Oversee the implementation of new financial systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate with IT and finance departments to align system solutions with business needs.
  • Improve system processes to enhance user experience and financial data accuracy.
  • Conduct regular system audits to maintain data integrity and security compliance.
  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards to support financial decision-making processes.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for financial application issues.
  • Plan and execute training programs for users on new and existing financial systems.
  • Evaluate new technology solutions and their potential impact on system efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage the systems budget, including forecasts and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and financial stakeholders for requirements gathering.
  • Document system processes and updates for continuity and organizational knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, information systems, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance systems analysis or management roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of analysts.
  • Strong understanding of finance concepts and how they relate to system capabilities.
  • Proficiency in system software commonly used in financial management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems implementation and integration is highly desirable.
