Finance Product Manager

This role sits within the Wealth Management division of a global asset manager and covers the full lifecycle management of structured products across all asset classes and customer segments. The position is junior to mid-level and requires a strong derivatives background combined with the ability to communicate complex product details clearly to clients and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the structured products platform and lifecycle across all relevant distribution channels, ensuring product range quality and driving continuous improvement.
• Identify product needs and develop new structured product ideas aligned with client requirements, market trends, house views, and business priorities.
• Analyze, optimize, launch, and monitor structured products, covering payoffs, underlyings, issuer support, client queries, risk flags, and maturity replacements.
• Lead platform enhancements and process improvements, including automation, digitization, infrastructure upgrades, issuer agreements, loan-to-value frameworks, and educational initiatives.
• Support financial and business performance objectives by managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, overseeing distribution channels, and jointly owning structured products budgets with relevant segments and channels.
• Maintain operational efficiency, compliance, and service delivery standards by upholding checks and balances, monitoring the trade book, escalating risk flags, and serving as the primary point of contact for structured products stakeholders.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Mathematics; a postgraduate qualification in Finance with derivatives exposure is preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in structured products and/or derivatives; Wealth Management experience is an advantage.
• Solid technical knowledge of derivatives and structured products, including payoffs, underlyings, institutional term sheets, and pricing factors.
• Ability to analyze and validate product documentation, including reviewing moderate-complexity term sheets against intended payoff structures.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex structured product concepts into clear language suitable for client and sales audiences.
• Coding skills are desirable; strong behavioral competencies including analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and attention to detail are expected.
