Overview of position

  • Reporting to the Financial Controller, The Finance Operations & Pricing Specialist supports finance teams across multiple countries by strengthening financial processes, building capability, and ensuring consistent standards in operations. This role also develops pricing models for proposals and new business opportunities to ensure sustainability, competitiveness, and alignment with delivery requirements.
  • The ideal candidate is analytical, structured, confident with numbers and digital tools, and motivated to make financial operations smoother, smarter, and more aligned globally.


Role objectives


Pricing & Commercial Support:

  • Develop pricing models for new bids and renewals based on client requirements, contextual factors, operational assumptions, and risk levels.
  • Analyse pricing scenarios and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Ensure pricing remains competitive while safeguarding sustainable profitability.

Regional Finance Support:

  • Act as the first point of contact for finance matters across assigned regions.
  • Ensure correct application of finance policies, processes, and reporting standards.
  • Support audit preparation and follow-up. Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure audit readiness and address proactively any tax-related concerns.
  • Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and revenue assurance.
  • Troubleshoot operational finance challenges together with regional and country teams.

Process & System Improvements:

  • Support implementation and adoption of global finance systems, tools, and reporting templates.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to workflows and financial controls, compliant with regulations, and aligned with best practices.

Training & Capacity Building:

  • Train and support country finance teams on financial procedures, tools, pricing templates, and analysis.
  • Coach teams to strengthen financial capability and ensure consistent application of best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the finance team.


Support Coverage:

  • Provide short- to medium-term coverage for finance leads during absence or transition periods to ensure continuity of critical operations.


Project reporting

This role reports to the Financial Controller.


Key competencies

Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 2–4 years’ experience in pricing, commercial finance, FP&A or similar finance roles within a service-based industry (e.g., HR outsourcing, ICT consulting, staffing, professional services).
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with financial management software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, scenario modelling). Experience with ERP, finance systems and/or pricing tools (advantage).
  • Experience supporting multi-country operations or distributed teams is desirable.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical, numerical and reporting capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, structured approach, and strong organisation skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and simplify complex financial topics.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
  • Enjoys teaching, enabling others, and contributing to operational improvement.
  • Willingness to travel for missions to CTG operations including to high-risk environments when needed.
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience working in multi-cultural environments.

This role has no team management requirements.
