Finance Manager

Emirates Electrical Engineering is a specialized business platform that provides comprehensive turnkey solutions combining development, financing, construction and operation of solar rooftops for commercial and industrial building in the UAE, also a responsive and flexible organization dedicated for the design and construction of turnkey electrical power projects such as High Voltage Substations, Cable Networks and Transmission Lines.

Job Purpose

This role will support the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the system integration business. It encompasses managing project financials, receivables, reporting, and compliance, while ensuring robust financial governance and supporting the company’s strategic growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Prepare monthly accounts, MIS reports, and variance analysis for management review
• Assist decision-making through financial models, scenario analysis, and profitability insights
• Monitor project costs, margins, WIP, and unbilled revenue
• Work closely with Project Managers to align billing milestones and prevent overruns
• Track project profitability and proactively highlight financial risks
• Manage receivables, aging reports, and collection activities
• Support credit control processes to maintain healthy DSO levels
• Oversee supplier payments and drive efficient working capital management
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with IFRS and company policies
• Strengthen internal controls across procurement, approvals, and expense management
• Identify automation opportunities and support ERP/finance system enhancements
• Assist in implementing financial dashboards and reporting tools
• Coordinate import shipment clearance with freight forwarders, including customs and L/C documentation
• Manage import processes with DAFZA and JAFZA authorities
• Facilitate effective coordination across finance and cross-functional teams
  
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree educated and fully qualified accountant qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience preferably within the same industry
