About the Role

This role exists to lead the full finance agenda for a Dubai branch operation and ensure the business has the reporting, controls, planning discipline, and regulatory oversight needed to perform well in a tightly governed market. The Finance Manager will oversee financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning, while giving senior leadership the financial insight needed to make sound decisions. It will suit someone who combines strong technical finance capability with good judgement, a clear understanding of banking regulation in the UAE, and the confidence to improve processes, challenge performance, and strengthen financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the branch’s financial operations across financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning while maintaining accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with UAE banking regulations, international financial standards, and internal finance policies through robust governance and financial controls.
• Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports to senior management, including performance commentary, financial insight, and practical recommendations.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting cycle, including financial planning, cost control, and variance analysis to support business and operational objectives.
• Improve financial systems, reporting processes, and control frameworks to strengthen governance and raise operational efficiency.
• Monitor branch financial performance and take corrective action where needed to keep delivery aligned with targets and business expectations.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing clear financial analysis, performance evaluation, and operational finance recommendations.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to enhance financial operations, strengthen compliance frameworks, and support broader strategic initiatives in the UAE market.

What They’re Looking For:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
• You bring solid banking or financial services experience, with a strong track record across financial management and financial reporting.
• You have meaningful experience leading finance operations in a managerial capacity, including oversight of teams and core finance processes.
• You understand UAE banking regulations, compliance requirements, and international financial standards in a practical operating environment.
• You are confident managing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting with a high level of accuracy and control.
• You can translate financial data into clear insight that supports strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
• You bring strong analytical capability, sound leadership judgement, and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA will be viewed favourably.

What You’ll Gain:
