Our client is a leading international industrial group, operating across multiple regions with a strong footprint in Africa and the Middle East.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, with a functional line to the Group Finance Director, you will lead the finance function and act as a true strategic partner to the business. You will play a critical role in driving performance, supporting decision-making, and ensuring financial discipline across the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Defining and executing the financial strategy in line with group and regional objectives
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles
• Delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Acting as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, supporting key business decisions
• Driving performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities to improve profitability
• Strengthening internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks
• Overseeing treasury, tax, and regulatory compliance
• Building, leading, and developing a high-performing finance team
• Acting as Deputy to the General Manager on key operational and strategic topics
  
  

The Successful Applicant

You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, ideally complemented by a professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or MBA), and bring over 12 years of experience in finance roles within international or industrial environments.

You have developed a strong track record as a Finance Business Partner, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute directly to operational and strategic decision-making. You combine solid technical expertise in financial controlling, reporting, and compliance with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to business challenges.

You are comfortable operating in complex and fast-evolving environments, where your understanding of both corporate expectations and local business dynamics allows you to drive performance effectively. Recognized for your leadership, you are able to structure, develop, and lead high-performing teams while maintaining a strong focus on results and accountability.

Fluent in English, you are looking for a role where you can act as a true partner to the business, with high visibility and impact at senior management level.
